The main calculator is built for trading workflow. Start with your contract mode, confirm lots, then compare entry and exit to see profit, loss, pip movement, and a simple return estimate. The layout keeps the P&L block primary because that is the page’s core job.
Spot parity converts XAU/USD into INR per 10 grams. Landed parity applies an import-duty assumption to approximate how international gold may map into the Indian market. It is useful for context, but it is not the same as broker statement P&L or jewellery billing.
The secondary cards are designed as working tools instead of decorative widgets. The purity engine estimates metal value across common karat levels, while the mass converter translates troy ounces into grams and tolas so traders and retail buyers can speak the same unit language quickly.
The calculator estimates profit and loss from the difference between entry and exit price, then applies a contract-size model. Standard, mini, and micro modes represent different XAU/USD exposure sizes, so the same price move produces different P&L values.
The page tries to prefill XAU/USD and USD/INR from the site live-price endpoint. If the feed is unavailable, the calculator stays usable in manual mode so you can enter your own numbers instead of relying on stale values.
Spot parity converts international XAU/USD into INR per 10 grams using USD/INR. Landed parity adds an import-duty assumption on top of that spot conversion. It is a market reference, not a final retail jewellery invoice.
Use it as a reference only. The purity engine helps compare 24K, 22K, 18K, and 14K metal values from a 24K benchmark, then layers in a making-charge percentage. Final retailer pricing may also include GST, wastage, and local premiums.
